Here’s what’s new and improved in this version:

Activation & Setup
o Made it easier to activate MBD-2026 Manager when using it with BLS-2026.
o Updated the installer to be smoother, cleaner, and faster.
o Moved preferences to a directory save from Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access
o Improved firewall settings so installs work better with newer Windows versions.
o Supports different install modes (Manager-only or Server-only).
o Installer now shows options to Modify, Repair, or Remove when re-run.
o Updated how the database installs and updates.
Backup & Restore
o Improved how backup and restore works, especially if the server and manager are on different computers.
o General tweaks to make database backups more reliable.
Bowler Management
o Fixed problems entering birthdates when using non-US date formats.
o Added a tool to delete empty or "cleared" bowlers quickly.
o Improved case-fixing (upper/lowercase corrections).
o Better tools to find and clean up duplicate bowlers.
o New option to delete bowlers with no name at all.
o You can now mark bowlers as "deceased" for records.
o Added support for tracking a parent or guardian (up to 2 per bowler).
o Added a way to import bowler info from Perfect Bowler Manager into MBD-2032.
Import and Export
o Updated Excel Import and Export
o Added checking when using import when overriding values to allow excel file to have changes to update the specific bowler in the MBD providing the ID# in the excel file is present and accurate.
Email & Export
o Improved how email works, now supports Gmail and Microsoft email servers.
o Fixed issues where email caused errors or didn’t work right.
o Can now export email lists and average reports to Excel.
o Added more export options by league and current averages.
Reports
o Easier to pick reports.
o Added new Parent/Guardian reports.
o Birthday reports can now be sorted by month and league.
o Added League Breakdown Report and Age Filter for reports.
o Improved layout and titles on several reports.
o Upgraded the report engine for better speed and new features.
o Fixed bugs in some reports, like individual stats or honor rolls.
User Interface & Themes
o Fresh new look with updated design based on user feedback.
o You can now choose between light and dark themes for better readability.
o Fixed problems with missing league order or birthday entry errors.
o Added a shortcut to restart the MBD service.
Other Fixes & Improvements
o Fixed problems with editing leagues when no leagues exist.
